I had a disappointing experience with this dental office, mainly due to a lack of cost transparency.
I went in for a deep cleaning at an in-network provider and paid a portion upfront at the time of service. However, I was later billed an additional $124.20 that was never clearly explained to me beforehand.
While the office insists that the charges are “correct,” my concern is not just about whether the billing follows their internal process, but that the out-of-pocket cost was not clearly disclosed prior to treatment. As a patient, I should have been informed of the full financial responsibility before proceeding.
I raised this concern and asked for clarification, but the response was simply that the charges were accurate, without addressing the lack of upfront communication.
Transparency is extremely important in healthcare. Patients deserve to make informed decisions, especially when it comes to unexpected costs.
I would recommend future patients confirm their out-of-pocket costs in detail before agreeing to any procedures at this office.
